A new initiative launched June 27, 2026
A permanent outdoor sculpture exhibit by local artists in the Cully Neighborhood.
Isn’t it strange that the creative mecca of Portland doesn’t have a sculpture park - a space to wander and discover and be delighted by something out of the ordinary?
The new Cully Sculpture Walk aspires to be that place. Large scale sculptures by local artists displayed throughout the beautiful nature-filled Cully Neighborhood.
This is a community sponsored initiative by local artists along with Cully residents who generously host sculptures in their front yards. If you are a local sculpture artist or a neighbor willing to host, please reach out.

Current Exhibition
The opening exhibition features the work of Cully artist Betsy Power in a show titled In Our Hands.
The sculptures in this series explore the rich symbology of the human hand, playing with both the physical and metaphorical impact of what we hold within these hands of ours.

Betsy Power is the anchor artist for the New Cully Sculpture Walk and the organizing force behind this initiative, which she hopes will soon be populated with many more artists and collaborators.

10% of all proceeds from the In Our Hands Series will be donated to Oregon Food Bank to help end hunger in Oregon and SW Washington.
Collaborating Artists
Ian Mayer - Metal Artist
Ian Mayer has been building and creating custom projects as Lorax General Contracting for nearly 2 decades. What began as a carpentry based home remodeling business has organically shifted to a shop-based custom steel fabrication project shop, artfully creating one-off pieces for homes, retail environments, and landscape settings.
Kip LaVie - Composer
Kip LaVie is a multi-instrumentalist and composer making genre-defying music that Podcart calls “wonderfully eccentric.” He is inspired by post-bop jazz, ambient, electronica, classical, and folk music traditions from around the world. When not making music, he is teaching production, composition, and instrumental performance at One Sound Studio in Portland, OR.
Kip composed a beautiful and haunting musical piece for the opening launch on June 27th.
Alexis Ramblings - Floral Artist
Lexi designed the exquisite display of flowers that graced the titular sculpture "In our hands” that can be seen to the right.
